Thanks to Island Music and Nolan’s for presenting a great program. We had our first public performance of “Only Now,” our world premier of “Cruise Control,” and a reprise of “Stars Tonight.” All three songs feature trumpet, guitar, and percussion. There was a great line up of performers of all kinds.

Laurence says:
Wow! There were some great performers there last night. Sound Traveler, though, was the only group to do something using something other than just guitars. When Patty blows the trumpet, it is sweet!

Is the Writer’s Night a regular thing?
Bob says:
Sam Tritico of Island Music gave a nice tip of the hat to Sound Traveler at Nolan’s last Thursday. He said in his newsletter, ” Last week’s Writers Night turned out to be pretty well attended, with a full slate of writers. Teresa McReynolds won her first “Song of the Night” contest, and we had a very unique set by Bob & Patty Tatum involving a trumpet and some unusual percussion instruments. All the performers did great sets, and I heard lots of new songs. You can come a dozen times in a row, and still hear something new and interesting the next time.”
